ABBIE RUFF (Acro, Acro Conditioning) grew up in Oklahoma and started dancing at the age of three. Her home dance and acting studio instilled a love of dance, theatre, and community in her. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) and has performed in regional theatres across the country. Favorite performances include West Side Story (Anybodys), Sweet Charity, Cinderella, and Oklahoma! After college, Abbie’s interest in teaching and mentorship grew. She taught for two years at Dance Unlimited PAC, has been a guest teacher at various studios and universities, and a choreographer for the shows Rocky Horror Show and A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine, as well as teen and junior theatrical productions such as Legally Blonde, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Elf. She has been living in NYC for seven years, is ecstatic to be joining the faculty of Coupé, and looking forward to the year ahead! . . .
