_2024 Rehearsal and Performance Information

Coupé has 6 days of dress rehearsals starting Saturday, May11th 1pm-9pm, and continuing Monday, May13th through Friday, May 17th 3:30pm-9pm.
Your child’s CLASS, DAY & TIME and teacher’s initials are listed in Column 1 of the dress rehearsal schedule.
Each class has a 15-minute time slot on stage with time allowed before to dress in costume in the backstage area, and after to go to the photographer, change and go back into the auditorium.
It is important to arrive on time with your child’s hair done and dressed in their nude leotard, correct tights and dance shoes.
Go straight into the auditorium and wait for your group to be “called to the backstage area.”
Parents are not permitted backstage, unless signed up and cleared to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Annie at emailanniewilliams@gmail.com. IMPORTANT: In order for you to receive volunteer credit you MUST sign IN and OUT with the appropriate staff members.
Parents may video record and take photos from seats in the auditorium during their child’s dress rehearsal. As soon as children have finished on stage they will be taken to the professional photographer set up in the backstage area or back to the dressing room. Once your child’s class is ready to leave we will bring them back to you in the auditorium. Please wait to pick up your child there.

Dance families may choose to have a professional photograph of their dancer in their recital costume at their dress rehearsal. If you are interested in this, please pick up an information package from Coupé.
The photographer is an outside contractor and all questions regarding recital photos must be addressed to them at cgvinphoto@yahoo.com or 914-479-0830
Photo packages must be purchased prior to having photos taken. A table will be set up inside the auditorium at dress rehearsal for information.

Performers must arrive at the school one hour prior to their show. Please go to the sign in desk to the right as you enter the building and wait to be called backstage.
Dancers will not be permitted to bring large bags or food into the backstage area. All bags will be left at the sign in desk for children to access if they need to.
The show will be approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. We ask that audience members stay for the entire performance.
Students will stay backstage for the whole show (the dressing room will have a video monitor).
Students are released from the stage at the end of the performance. Please stay in the auditorium after the show to meet your child.

If you need help with your ticket purchase, we will have someone available to help you on Saturday May 4th, 9-2pm. However, we strongly advise you to purchase your tickets as soon as they become available. WE WILL NOT HAVE TICKETS TO SELL AT THE SCHOOL THE DAY OF THE PERFORMANCE. Guests will need to their phones to purchase tickets through the showtix4U website.
